These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clif mobile application (the “app”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Clif, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
All book summaries, text, audio, and other materials provided in the app are owned by Clif or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. They are provided for your personal learning only. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the service, attempt to access it through unauthorised means, reverse engineer the app, scrape or bulk-download content, or use the app to infringe the rights of others.
Clif is free to download with limited access. Premium is purchased on our website (clif.app) as either a recurring subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time “Founding Lifetime” purchase, and is processed by Polar (polar.sh), acting as merchant of record; your card statement may show Polar. Pricing and billing terms are always presented before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime from the link in your receipt email or by contacting us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. The Founding Lifetime purchase is one-time and does not renew or expire. The mobile app does not sell anything — it only unlocks content for accounts with existing premium access.
The app and its content are provided “as is” for general educational purposes. Summaries are condensed interpretations and are not a substitute for the original works or for professional advice. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of the content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clif will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
